Everglades National Park
A “River of Grass” was the description given to the landscape in the 1940s by pioneering conservationist Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Within the park, this river still flows slowly toward the sea and gulf. Take the Shark Valley Tram tour to explore the beauty of the Everglades. See wildlife in their natural habitat. A visit to the Miccosukee Indian Village will include a narrated tour through the past, present and future of the Miccosukee Indian Tribe. Live demonstrations of various handicrafts can be observed during your visit. Arrangements can be made to take your group on an air boat ride as well.
