Museum of Science & Industry
At MOSI, the Museum of Science and Industry, students are encouraged to “learn by doing“ in this scientific playground. With over 450 hands-on activities and interactive exhibits, including some of the most cutting-edge visiting exhibitions to hit Tampa Bay, there’s always something new to discover at MOSI.

A visit to MOSI is a full day of excitement, enlightenment, and entertainment! The museum offers day, evening, and overnight activities and programs to fit any itinerary or grade level.

Packages to Tampa can be combined with a visit to the Florida Aquarium or Busch Gardens, and include round-trip transportation by deluxe motor coach, tour escort, all admission fees, meals, and accommodations at nationally recognized hotels.
Teachers are complimentary based on ratio chosen by school.

Sonshine Educational Tours to the Museum of Science & Industry include interdisciplinary learning activities and experiences that align with Florida’s Sunshine State Standards, including the following:

Science (SC.A.1.3.5) The student knows the difference between a physical change in a substance (i.e., altering the shape, form, volume, or density) and a chemical change (i.e., producing new substances with different characteristics).

Science (SC.B.1.3.3) The student knows the various forms in which energy comes to Earth from the sun (e.g., visible light, infrared, and microwave).

Science (SC.F.1.3.1) The student understands that living things are composed of major systems that function in reproduction, growth, maintenance, and regulation.
