Disney’s Youth Educational Series
The Disney Youth Education Series offers educational field trip programs for K–12 grade student groups of 25 or more. These programs are specially designed to thrill, inspire, and showcase young people. Programs take place within and behind the scenes of all Disney Theme Parks.
Trained facilitators use a captivating mixture of thought provoking information, hands-on experiences, and fun to involve students in the learning process.
Disney’s World of Physics: Properties of Motion – This interactive program casts students into the role of Theme Park scientists as they envoy hands-on examinations and activities of the basic properties of force, motion and gravity. For students grades 3rd -12th.
How Things Move-This program helps young learners understand how the physical sciences help power favorite Theme Park attractions. For students grades K-2nd.
The American Story-Students gain an understanding of the conflicts and resolutions of the nation’s people, as they strived to make E Pluribus Unum a way of life. For students grades 2nd – 12th.
Disney’s World of Physics: Energy and Waves-This interactive adventure studies select attractions to showcase the physics concepts of optics, acoustics, and magnetism in a real world context. For students grades 3rd-12th.
Ocean Discoveries-As future environmental leaders, students learn about conservation challenges affecting marine habitats and marine life. Venturing inside and behind-the-scenes, students use a problem-based approach to develop ideas and learn to make effective conservation decisions. For students grades 3rd-9th.
Magic Behind the Show: Improv and Teamwork– Students participate in improvisational activities, practice and develop performance and team-building techniques and come to know one another as members of a creative team. For Students 6th-12th grade.
Everyday Chemistry-Students are amazed, amused and enlightened through hands-on experiments and Theme Park attractions that unlock the imagination and inspire creativity. They discover how the millions of things that we use every day are the result of chemistry. For students 4th-8th grade.
Dynamics of Technology-Students enjoy an exclusive, pre-park opening experience at Mission: Space to gain a uniqu perspective on the complex factors that took man to the moon and beyond. They also discover drivers of the transportation safety movement at Test Track, and study the theoretical underpinnings of today’s technologies. For students 6th-12th grade.
Making Waves with a Marine Career-Students “submerge” themselves into the fields of marine mammal training, water chemistry, aquarium and animal care, research and conservation education. For students 7th-12th grade.
Millennium Cultures-The culturally authentic pavilions of World Showcase serve as the backdrop for this interactive study of people and places around the world. Students learn that while cultures vary, all people share similar needs and interests in the global community. For students 5th-12th grade.
Disney Leadership Excellence: The Inside Track-Students investigate proven management strategies employed within the “Walt Disney Company,” see how effective leadership produces innovation and identify tactics they can adapt to help promote their own personal and professional success. For students 9th-12th grade.
Synergy in Science-By investigating technologies at work in Epcot® attractions, students discover the “magic” behind entertainment technology and its application to daily life. For students 1st-5th grade.
Disney’s Captivating Moments: Images with Impact-Epcot® serves as the backdrop during this exploration of photography and its relationship to story. Students discover their artistic eye and come to understand the technical and creative elements that result in images with impact that connect people, places and events. The unique storytelling environment of Epcot® provides students with the opportunity to discover and apply the art of storytelling through the art and science of photography. Note: Students are required to provide their own cameras. For students 6th – 10th grade..
Disney’s Animation Magic-Students discover the history, creativity and innovation behind the creative process of animation. For students 3rd-12th grade.
Disney’s Production Arts and Science-Students learn how technologies, techniques and story boarding are shaping today’s media and influencing audiences of all ages. For students 3rd-12th grade.
Career Discovery-Students discover how to navigate unexpected career highs and lows as they identify barriers to career development and formulate strategies for personal and professional success. For students 6th-12th grade.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom®Theme Park
Keepers of the Kingdom at Disney’s Animal Kingdom– Students dicover the innovative ways Disney’s Animal Kingdom scientists and animal care staff are handling the complex issues surrounding animal care, nutrition, conservation and animal behavior. This program inspires students to become more involved in conservation in their own lives and communities. For students 10th-12th grade.
Team Up for Wildlife-Students travel throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom and experience select attractions to discover how diverse people and animals respond to conservation challenges in the ever-changing world we live in. Students are encouraged to work together and create an action plan using their new skills and fresh mindset. For students 6th-12th grade.
Disney’s Wild by Nature-Through animal observation, data collection, select attractions, and hands-on activities, students learn how animal research is helping us preserve wildlife and wild places.
Downtown Disney® / Cirque Du Soleil®
Showbiz Magic at La Nouba™ by Cirque Du Soleil®– Get a unique look into the modern-day circus at La Nouba™ by Cirque du Soleil®. Participants gain a greater appreciation of the preparation, training and support systems that create an experience that invokes the imagination, provokes the senses and evokes the emotions of people from around the world. Note: Students are required to attend a performance of La Nouba™ prior to the Disney Youth Education Series program For students 6th – 12th grade.
Tour Packages Include
Single -day or multi-day packages include round-trip transportation by deluxe motor coach, tour escort, all admission fees to attractions, detailed activities and itineraries, all meals, and accommodations at nationally recognized hotels.
Teachers are complimentary based on ratio chosen by school.
